Monday, September 28
Hello to all parents,

We played the game Pizza today. We talked about the "Colour Wheel," which is a circle with primary, secondary, and tertiary colours. Also for English, Mme Smyth gave us personal dictionaries (Words! Words! Words!) and we wrote some unknown words (words that we don't yet know). We did our Wonder Centres. Reminders - Apple forms and Orange Shirt Day this Wednesday. Have a good day, Room 105

Tuesday, September 29
Dear parents,
Here are three important activities for us today: We coloured our "Colour Wheels," we talked about Orange Shirt Day, and also we played "The Wind Blows" during gym. Reminders - Tomorrow is Orange Shirt day so wear an orange shirt, and tomorrow is the last day to return apple forms. Thanks, Room 105

Wednesday, September 30
Hello everyone, Today we honoured Orange Shirt Day and drew our own Orange Shirts. Also, we did some math - short form and expanded form of place value. During English we continued the book "Fatty Legs" about residential schools. During writing this morning we had the question: "How can we respect others." Have a great day, Room 105

Thursday, October 1
Bonjour/Hola/Oki/Hello, Today we did math with the symbolic form of place value - units, tens, hundreds, and thousands. During FLA we saw our "Image of the Day" which was of an indigenous woman and girl who were dancing. Also, we did PE, where we brought our Visual Journals outside to make plans to be trainers for our class. We also read a bit of our story "Fatty Legs" in English. Reminders - Coulee visit on Monday, October 5th with Saa'kokoto, and picture day on Wednesday, October 7th. Thanks, Room 105

Friday, October 2
Dear Parents, Today we finished our Colour Wheels - we added more colours (tertiary colours, like yellow-orange, yellow-green, etc.). We did English and we continued reading Fatty Legs (Chapter 2). The Grade 3 students worked a bit with Mrs. Gainor in the Learning Commons to do review activities from Garde 2. During Math we practiced the symbolic form of large numbers. Reminders - Coulee visit next Monday, October 5th with Saa'kokoto, and picture day next Wednesday, October 7th. Have a good weekend! Room 105
