Agenda - Week of November 16-19, 2020

Hey, 

This morning we did Math where we practiced vertical addition. Also, we did Science where we researched our questions about rocks/minerals and light/shadow. Ciara did a presentation about her visit to Canmore and Banff. During English/Art we continued our book covers of the book "The Wild Robot."

Reminders - Fun Snack is this Thursday. There will not be school this Friday. The virtual Book Fair ends November 26th.

Hey everyone, 

This afternoon we did a "City Project" where we created cities and we had to add 45 elements, but there were 65 choices. In the morning, we did science presentations - the Grade 4s presented information about light/shadows and the Grade 3s about rocks/minerals. We had  a fire drill as well and we did great - truly! Also for math we calculated the coatroom times (we got 79 seconds), then we practiced vertical addition.

Reminders - Virtual Book Fair ends November 26th. There will be no school this Friday, November 20. Thursday will be "Fun Snack."

Dear parents, 

This morning we did math where we did word problems with addition (while choosing our preferred strategy). Also we were fast in the coatroom today (67 seconds!). We did our community project where we had an economic crisis and we had to remove 15 elements from our cities. Also we started the novel "The Wild Robot" in English.

Reminders - Bring your library books to change them tomorrow. There will not be school this Friday. "Fun Snack" is tomorrow.

This afternoon Tristan did his personal sharing - he shared a few photos from Disney. We went to the "Gathering Space" to choose library books. For math we started the subject of vertical subtraction - we watched a video and then practiced. Today we had "Fun Snack" - popcorn!

Reminders - There will not be school tomorrow. Tomorrow is also Kate and Ethan's Birthdays! Happy Birthday!

Monday, November 23 Dear parents,  This morning we did Music where we played "fast or slow" while listening to music, then after we did some writing. We also did writing (with letter formation) and typing on Typing Club - we had two groups and changed activities. Also we did French where we had the "Mixed up Word" (but we didn't find out the word!! The letters are sepigaperants). This afternoon we did reading centres and DPA in the classroom ("Run the red carpet" and "Melt"). Agenda - Week of October 26-29, 2020

Monday, October 26 Hello parents, This afternoon we did PE with Sierra and Sarah as trainers. They taught "Ninja." We played an expression game. During the morning, we did French where we played "Mystery Word," and Music where we played with our music packs, we had a test, and we did some patterns. During English we talked about reconciliation. Reminders - This Thursday we have our Pumpkin Patch. Tomorrow is our coulee visit. There is no school this Friday! This afternoon we went to the Coulee! Agenda - Week of November 2-6, 2020

Monday, November 2 Hey everyone, Today we did a Zoom with The Royal Tyrrell Museum! We observed fossils and saw photos of animals (like crocodiles). We also saw a huge fossil of a pig that was big like a rhinoceros, and a skull of a huge crocodile. For math we spoke about Tens Estimation and how to make 10. During PE we played "Bouge si" and "Pizza." During French we spoke about Remembrance Day and everyone created poppies and leaves with our hands, then we wrote about why we wear poppies. We also changed our seats :) Some reminders - Next Wednesday, November 11th, is Remembrance Day so there will not be school.
