Agenda - Week of December 14-17, 2020

Monday, December 14
Hey there,

Today we read the Wild Robot in English - Roz learned how to be a mother. We also did art where we learned three line drawing techniques - hatching, cross-hatching, and pointillism. Afterward, Mme gave us a paper to draw nature of Alberta to camouflage animals.

Reminders - Wear celebration clothing tomorrow. Thursday will be a pyjama day. There will not be school this Friday!

Tuesday, December 15
Dear parents, 

Today during Science we made Frayer models about habitats. We watched four videos that had almost all the teachers from the school in them. For DPA we walked around the school to look at all the decorated windows of the school. In English we wrote a paragraph about the Wild Robot. During Math we did a survey.

Reminders - Friday, December 18 there is no school. Thursday will be Pyjama Day.

Thursday, December 17
Dear parents, 

This afternoon we watched a movie called "The Lorax." It was about the Once-ler who wanted to be rich and who made Thneeds. During PE we played Pizza and Predator/Prey. We also did English where we finished writing our opinions about the Wild Robot. Also, Claire shared about her cupcake blanket.

Reminders - Winter Break starts today!! Don't forget to be responsible during online school. Don't forget to return all your materials when we return.

Monday, November 23 Dear parents,  This morning we did Music where we played "fast or slow" while listening to music, then after we did some writing. We also did writing (with letter formation) and typing on Typing Club - we had two groups and changed activities. Agenda - Week of October 26-29, 2020

Monday, October 26 Hello parents, This afternoon we did PE with Sierra and Sarah as trainers. They taught "Ninja." We played an expression game. During the morning, we did French where we played "Mystery Word," and Music where we played with our music packs, we had a test, and we did some patterns. During English we talked about reconciliation. Reminders - This Thursday we have our Pumpkin Patch. Tomorrow is our coulee visit. There is no school this Friday! This afternoon we went to the Coulee! Grade 4s took photos to observe the Coulee using a list of things to look for.  Grade 3s also used the iPads to take photos, and they collected soil samples from different places. Agenda - Week of November 2-6, 2020

Monday, November 2 Hey everyone, Today we did a Zoom with The Royal Tyrrell Museum! We observed fossils and saw photos of animals (like crocodiles). We also saw a huge fossil of a pig that was big like a rhinoceros, and a skull of a huge crocodile. For math we spoke about Tens Estimation and how to make 10. During PE we played "Bouge si" and "Pizza." During French we spoke about Remembrance Day and everyone created poppies and leaves with our hands, then we wrote about why we wear poppies. We also changed our seats :) Some reminders - Next Wednesday, November 11th, is Remembrance Day so there will not be school.
