Agenda - Week of November 30 - December 3, 2020

Monday, November 30
Oki, Today we did French where we watched a video about texts, and we read some texts and counted the words, sentences, lines, and paragraphs that were in the text. Jayda had her personal presentation and she showed a video from when she visited Fantasyland in Edmonton. We also did English where we read "The Wild Robot," and the robot met some other animals in the forest at their meeting. They were speaking about Roz. During PE we played the game "On the line, Off the line." For Social Studies we started researching our flags. During Math we played a partner game using 100s charts and a secret number. Reminders - School Conferences are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Thursday will be a short day. There will not be school this Friday. See you tomorrow, Room 105

Tuesday, December 1
Hello, Today we finished our flag research on our flags and we presented the information to the class. Also, for typing we did "Typing Club" and we did letter formation to practice forming our letters well while writing. We did DPA where we did laps around the soccer fields. During French we did Mixed-Up Word which we will continue tomorrow. Reminders - No school this Friday, December 4th, nor the 18th. This Thursday, December 3rd is early dismissal. Wednesday, December 2
Hey everyone, Today our favourite activities were: - Math games on the computer and with 100s charts. - The flag presentations and game. - English where we shared our products that we designed for Roz the Wild Robot. - PE with the Hoop Balancing game. Reminders - Bring library books to exchange them tomorrow (if you'd like). Tomorrow will be an early dismissal day. There will be no school this Friday. Have a great day, Room 105

Thursday, December 3
Dear parents, Today we drew masks and next week we will create masks for ourselves for our Winter Celebration. We also created decorations with papier using Increasing Patterns. Also, David shared as the "personal sharer" and Sierra shared some news about herself. Reminders - School Conferences continue this afternoon and evening. There will not be school tomorrow. Monday, November 23 Dear parents,  This morning we did Music where we played "fast or slow" while listening to music, then after we did some writing. We also did writing (with letter formation) and typing on Typing Club - we had two groups and changed activities. Also we did French where we had the "Mixed up Word" (but we didn't find out the word!! The letters are sepigaperants). This afternoon we did reading centres and DPA in the classroom ("Run the red carpet" and "Melt"). Agenda - Week of October 26-29, 2020

Monday, October 26 Hello parents, This afternoon we did PE with Sierra and Sarah as trainers. They taught "Ninja." We played an expression game. During the morning, we did French where we played "Mystery Word," and Music where we played with our music packs, we had a test, and we did some patterns. During English we talked about reconciliation. Reminders - This Thursday we have our Pumpkin Patch. Tomorrow is our coulee visit. There is no school this Friday! This afternoon we went to the Coulee! Grade 4s took photos to observe the Coulee using a list of things to look for.  Grade 3s also used the iPads to take photos, and they collected soil samples from different places. Agenda - Week of November 2-6, 2020

Monday, November 2 Hey everyone, Today we did a Zoom with The Royal Tyrrell Museum! We observed fossils and saw photos of animals (like crocodiles). We also saw a huge fossil of a pig that was big like a rhinoceros, and a skull of a huge crocodile. For math we spoke about Tens Estimation and how to make 10. During PE we played "Bouge si" and "Pizza." During French we spoke about Remembrance Day and everyone created poppies and leaves with our hands, then we wrote about why we wear poppies. We also changed our seats :) Some reminders - Next Wednesday, November 11th, is Remembrance Day so there will not be school.
