Cet après-midi, on a fait les présentations du science. Aujourd’hui on a aussi fait DPA et pendant ce temps on a fait une marche autour des terrains de soccer. On a lu le robot sauvage. On a fait les mathématiques où on a joué un jeu qui s’appelle AVANCE!

Quelques rappels - Le 24 février sera la journée de la chemise rose.

Wednesday, February 17
Hello parents, 

This morning we did math and we did math arrays (for multiplication). We also received new math notebooks. Another thing we did was English where we read a book called "The Invisible Boy" about a little boy who felt invisible. Then, a new boy arrived at school (in the book) and they became friends! Also, today we did some Science presentations.

Reminders - February 24th will be Pink Shirt Day AND the Celebration of Learning.

Thursday, February 18
Dear parents, 

This afternoon, we finished our videos during PE, then we edited ur exercise videos during English. We had some Science presentations on ground squirrels and mule deer. This morning we did multiplication and we created arrays with a dice game. During French we listened to a story called "Have you filled a a bucket today?" about kindness, respect, and our impact on ourselves and others.

Reminders - Bring school books tomorrow! Bring a bag for the coatroom.

Dear parents,

Today we did an activity for the 100th day of school - we drew things with the numbers from 100. Today we had an oral presentation from Alice - a video about women in Science. Also we did math where we did math puzzles about numbers.

Reminders - Jackets in bags!!! Pink Shirt Day and Celebration of Learning will be on February 24. Fun Snack will be February 26.

Monday, November 23 Dear parents,  This morning we did Music where we played "fast or slow" while listening to music, then after we did some writing. We also did writing (with letter formation) and typing on Typing Club - we had two groups and changed activities. Also we did French where we had the "Mixed up Word" (but we didn't find out the word!! The letters are sepigaperants). This afternoon we did reading centres and DPA in the classroom ("Run the red carpet" and "Melt"). Agenda - Week of October 26-29, 2020

Monday, October 26 Hello parents, This afternoon we did PE with Sierra and Sarah as trainers. They taught "Ninja." We played an expression game. During the morning, we did French where we played "Mystery Word," and Music where we played with our music packs, we had a test, and we did some patterns. During English we talked about reconciliation. Reminders - This Thursday we have our Pumpkin Patch. Tomorrow is our coulee visit. There is no school this Friday! This afternoon we went to the Coulee! Grade 4s took photos to observe the Coulee using a list of things to look for.  Grade 3s also used the iPads to take photos, and they collected soil samples from different places. Agenda - Week of November 2-6, 2020

Monday, November 2 Hey everyone, Today we did a Zoom with The Royal Tyrrell Museum! We observed fossils and saw photos of animals (like crocodiles). We also saw a huge fossil of a pig that was big like a rhinoceros, and a skull of a huge crocodile. For math we spoke about Tens Estimation and how to make 10. During PE we played "Bouge si" and "Pizza." During French we spoke about Remembrance Day and everyone created poppies and leaves with our hands, then we wrote about why we wear poppies. We also changed our seats :) Some reminders - Next Wednesday, November 11th, is Remembrance Day so there will not be school.
