Dear parents, 

This afternoon, Kaden shared a presentation about the lake called Last Mountain Lake. Today we did Social Studies where we created maps of our regions. This afternoon for DPA we walked around the soccer fields with snowshoes. 

Reminders - Fun Snack will be this Friday. Wednesday February 24th will be  Pink Shirt Day AND Learning Celebration.

Tuesday, February 23
Dear parents, 

Today for PE we played "animals and hunters" in the gym. Also we did Music with Ms. Miller and we played some instruments. This morning, we created multiplication charts to use during math.

Wednesday, February 24
Hey everyone, This morning, we discussed Pink Shirt Day. We watched some videos and wrote about why this day is important. Also we prepared for the Celebration of Learning this evening. During the afternoon, we finished our multiplication charts, typing up our paragraphs, and we went snowshoeing in the soccer fields. Reminders - Bring your Home Reading books AND FOLDERS and your library books TOMORROW! Celebration of Learning is the evening (or another day this week, whatever works for you). Hey everyone, 

Today we read some chapters of Wild Robot. We did Math - during math, we played a game called KABOOM! During Science we looked at animals that are endangered.

Dear parents, 

Today, we did art where we made multiplication buildings with pieces of paper. It was David's Birthday and Fun Snack. Also, we did math where we did a multiplication puzzle. This morning, Emma R. shared her presentation about her bedroom.

Monday, November 23 Dear parents,  This morning we did Music where we played "fast or slow" while listening to music, then after we did some writing. We also did writing (with letter formation) and typing on Typing Club - we had two groups and changed activities. Also we did French where we had the "Mixed up Word" (but we didn't find out the word!! The letters are sepigaperants). This afternoon we did reading centres and DPA in the classroom ("Run the red carpet" and "Melt"). Agenda - Week of October 26-29, 2020

Monday, October 26 Hello parents, This afternoon we did PE with Sierra and Sarah as trainers. They taught "Ninja." We played an expression game. During the morning, we did French where we played "Mystery Word," and Music where we played with our music packs, we had a test, and we did some patterns. During English we talked about reconciliation. Reminders - This Thursday we have our Pumpkin Patch. Tomorrow is our coulee visit. There is no school this Friday! This afternoon we went to the Coulee! Grade 4s took photos to observe the Coulee using a list of things to look for.  Grade 3s also used the iPads to take photos, and they collected soil samples from different places. Agenda - Week of November 2-6, 2020

Monday, November 2 Hey everyone, Today we did a Zoom with The Royal Tyrrell Museum! We observed fossils and saw photos of animals (like crocodiles). We also saw a huge fossil of a pig that was big like a rhinoceros, and a skull of a huge crocodile. For math we spoke about Tens Estimation and how to make 10. During PE we played "Bouge si" and "Pizza." During French we spoke about Remembrance Day and everyone created poppies and leaves with our hands, then we wrote about why we wear poppies. We also changed our seats :) Some reminders - Next Wednesday, November 11th, is Remembrance Day so there will not be school.
