Agenda - Week of March 1-5, 2021

Monday, March 1
Hello people, 

Today we had an oral presentation from Kate about COVID-19. Also we read The Wild Robot and there was an explosion and Roz does not have arms or legs anymore. Also we did PE where we played a game where there was one person as the leader, and the rest of the class had to copy them. The searcher had to guess who the leader was.

Tuesday, March 2
Dear parents, 

Today for Social Studies we finished our geographic maps for our regions (Peru, Ukraine, India, Tunisia, and Alberta). Today we did DPA and we walked (or ran) around the soccer fields. Also we did typing and handwriting where we learned the letters k, f, and e (Group 1) and the letters v, u, w, and s (Group 2). 

Reminders - Tomorrow we will do "Minecraft Education." Bring your headphones and bags for the coatroom if you don't have them.

Hello and hey parents, 

Today we did English where we wrote our own endings for The Wild Robot. Also, today we did math where we played KABOOM! Today we had Library where we went in reading groups to the Gathering Space to choose books from the Library. We got our Home Reading Folders back. 

Reminders - Don't forget to do the Home Reading activities (one per week). Read-a-thon! Sharers tomorrow are Sarah and Claire.

Friday, March 5
Hello, 

Today we did Problem of the Day and we did a secret message with multiplication. Also, Sarah shared about her cat, Bishu. We also practiced Home Reading by reading books and doing a kind of book report. Also we did Drama where we played some games. 

Reminders - Bring back the sheets of paper about next year. Next week, Thursday will be a short day and there will not be school on Friday.

Monday, November 23 Dear parents,  This morning we did Music where we played "fast or slow" while listening to music, then after we did some writing. We also did writing (with letter formation) and typing on Typing Club - we had two groups and changed activities. Agenda - Week of October 26-29, 2020

Monday, October 26 Hello parents, This afternoon we did PE with Sierra and Sarah as trainers. They taught "Ninja." We played an expression game. During the morning, we did French where we played "Mystery Word," and Music where we played with our music packs, we had a test, and we did some patterns. During English we talked about reconciliation. Reminders - This Thursday we have our Pumpkin Patch. Tomorrow is our coulee visit. There is no school this Friday! This afternoon we went to the Coulee! Grade 4s took photos to observe the Coulee using a list of things to look for.  Grade 3s also used the iPads to take photos, and they collected soil samples from different places. Agenda - Week of November 2-6, 2020

Monday, November 2 Hey everyone, Today we did a Zoom with The Royal Tyrrell Museum! We observed fossils and saw photos of animals (like crocodiles). We also saw a huge fossil of a pig that was big like a rhinoceros, and a skull of a huge crocodile. For math we spoke about Tens Estimation and how to make 10. During PE we played "Bouge si" and "Pizza." During French we spoke about Remembrance Day and everyone created poppies and leaves with our hands, then we wrote about why we wear poppies. We also changed our seats :) Some reminders - Next Wednesday, November 11th, is Remembrance Day so there will not be school.
