Agenda - Week of May 25-28, 2021

Tuesday, May 25
Dear parents, 

Today we did a game called "The Ball of Energy" and we played ukuleles. We took photos of our science projects and some people in the class got to take home the science projects. We almost finished The Wild Robot Escapes.

Reminders - There are only 4 days this week. Bring your books to exchange them (and return your headphones!). This Friday will be Fun Snack.

Wednesday, May 26
Hello,

This morning we stayed outside after recess to "listen closely" to the sounds around us. Then we read a bit of "The Wild Robot Escapes" outside too. During the afternoon we had a fire drill and we did a Social Studies activity to compare Canada with other countries in the world. At the end of the day, we went outside again to practice soccer.

Reminders - Bring your school books to exchange them tomorrow.

Thursday, May 27
Hey everyone, 

Today we practiced how to measure area of squares and rectangles. We also read a bit of The Wild Robot Escapes and we started writing our predictions for the end of the book (in the form of a story!). Also we exchanged our books from the library and from Home Reading. Then at the end of the day we went outside to play on the playground in the sunshine.

Reminders - Tomorrow is Fun Snack and early dismissal.

Friday, May 28
Dear parents, 

Today was early dismissal. We did Problem of the Day about calculating area and perimeter of squares and rectangles. It was a true challenge!! Then, we went outside to observe/draw nature from the perspective of an ant. Also Emma and Emma shared THREE bonus presentations with the class.

Monday, November 23 Dear parents,  This morning we did Music where we played "fast or slow" while listening to music, then after we did some writing. We also did writing (with letter formation) and typing on Typing Club - we had two groups and changed activities. Agenda - Week of October 26-29, 2020

Monday, October 26 Hello parents, This afternoon we did PE with Sierra and Sarah as trainers. They taught "Ninja." We played an expression game. During the morning, we did French where we played "Mystery Word," and Music where we played with our music packs, we had a test, and we did some patterns. During English we talked about reconciliation. Reminders - This Thursday we have our Pumpkin Patch. Tomorrow is our coulee visit. There is no school this Friday! This afternoon we went to the Coulee! Agenda - Week of November 2-6, 2020

Monday, November 2 Hey everyone, Today we did a Zoom with The Royal Tyrrell Museum! We observed fossils and saw photos of animals (like crocodiles). We also saw a huge fossil of a pig that was big like a rhinoceros, and a skull of a huge crocodile. For math we spoke about Tens Estimation and how to make 10. During PE we played "Bouge si" and "Pizza." During French we spoke about Remembrance Day and everyone created poppies and leaves with our hands, then we wrote about why we wear poppies. We also changed our seats :) Some reminders - Next Wednesday, November 11th, is Remembrance Day so there will not be school.
