Monday, May 31 Hello,  Today for Science we planted flowers (sunflowers) and tomatoes. Also Grade 3s shared their knowledge about hearing and sound and wrote questions about what they wanted to know. For math we practiced how to measure area of shapes. During PE we went outside and practiced how to pass soccer balls.  Reminders - Bring a water bottle, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen this week. Monday, May 3 Hello,  Today we did math where we did more with 3D shapes. We also finished our stories about the Earth. During oral presentations, Ryan shared about his cats, and Sierra and Jayda did bonus presentations. Sierra share a presentation about "night plants," and Jayda shared a presentation about Ramadan. He spoke about the role of animals in the lives of indigenous people in the past (in particular dogs, horses, and bison). During the afternoon, we spoke about International Women's Day and why it is important to fight for equality. Hello lovely families of Room 105!
